- 25 years’ experience working on a wide variety of projects: direct mail, social media posts, HTML/CSS emails, catalogues, national press ads, brochures, large format posters, email visuals, interactive PDFs, web ads (static and animated), design guidelines, window vinyls, point of sale, digital display ads, annual reports, pitch documents, full-size display units (FSDUs), and standees, visuals, and vehicle graphics.¶
- Able to take projects from their initial brief, creating concepts, setting up working templates, master pages, color palettes, and style sheets, etc., through all the amendment stages to the final successful delivery of print/digital data to a variety of media.¶
- Good feel, eye, and understanding for layout, typography, and design. Competent in photographic retouching and manipulation. Well-versed with the industry-standard software, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, with a good understanding of the printing processes and reprographics.¶
- Experience in managing both artworkers and the artworking of small and large print projects – from Direct Mail to 480pp catalogues. Can creatively art work from scamps, art direction, or rigidly follow strict style guidelines as required.¶

Senior Creative Artworker – Freelance (October 2023 – present)¶
Senior Creative Artworker – The Graphic Design House (TGDH) (July 2016 – September 2023)¶
Working principally with Williams & Co., Hampshire Chamber of Commerce, and Chichester Cinema, as well as a wide variety of other clients between projects. My role consists of liaising with clients via phone and email, taking briefs, creating artwork, amending the artwork, and outputting the final print-ready data. I work on the 96-page trade-only catalogue ‘Pricebusters’ (3 per year) and the 120-page ‘Bathroom Collection’ catalogue (3 per year) for Williams & Co., the 64-page magazine ‘Business News’ (10 per year) for Hampshire Chamber of Commerce, and the 50-ish page cinema guide (4 per year) and 100-page festival guide (yearly) for Chichester Cinema. In addition, I also work on many other projects for theaters, schools, and charities, including prospectuses, program guides, ads, direct mail, stationery, and leaflets, to name a few.¶
Senior Creative Artworker – Ogilvy & Mather (Feb 2012 – May 2016)¶
Lead creative artworker for American Express press, out-of-home ads, and internal marketing interactive PDFs (Playbooks). Lead creative artworker on the 2013 and 2014 Team P&G annual reports. Artworked and creatively artworked print and digital ads and DM for Amex, Unilever, BT, Barclays, IBM, Centrepoint, Dogs Trust, Aberdeen Asset Management, British Airways, Ford, International Hotel Group, as well as pitch work. Ensured all artwork followed client guidelines and met the project’s output specifications, whether it be print or digital (size, colors, file format, type area, resolution, etc.).¶
Senior Creative Artworker – Freelance at various London agencies (Jul 2010 – Feb 2012)¶
Working for a variety of London agencies, including Ogilvy & Mather, TBWA/Paling Walters Ltd, Proximity, Inferno, Superdrug, Allen International, to name a few. Artworking and creatively artworking national and international ads, large format posters, DM, POS, design guidelines, interactive PDFs, catalogues, flyers, pitch documents, and retouching and visualizing ideas.¶
Senior Creative Artworker – Lick Creative (Jul 2008 – Jul 2010)¶
Working principally on Robert Dyas campaigns, creatively artworking seasonal catalogues (approximately 60pp each), sale flyers (4-16pp), POS and POP materials, including window posters, window vinyls, shelf strips, store cards, offer stickers, hanging banners, window wobblers, and national press adverts. As well as flyers/catalogues for Wickes, Tesco, Blacks, Millets, Sony, Freeview, and Full-Size Display Units (FSDUs) and Standees for a variety of film and retail clients such as Warner Brothers, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Tesco, and L’Oréal.¶
Senior Creative Artworker – Complete Integrated (Jan 2003 – Jul 2008)¶
Lead creative artworker on Wickes 480pp catalogues. Managed all artworking and artworkers from the brief to print. Created and updated as required all page templates, style sheets, and project libraries. Managed and liaised closely with the creatives and artworkers, ensuring consistent creative and artwork treatment across the entire catalogue, and managed the implementation of the changes. Assisted in ironing out creative issues regarding text styles, color, flash styles, and page layout. In addition, I was the lead creative artworker on Homebase tactical work: flyers ranging from 2-16pp, including Homebase 10% day 8-16pp flyers, Homebase Big Book 160pp catalogues, The Entertainer Christmas catalogue 120pp, Robert Dyas Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter catalogues (approximately 60pp each), Robert Dyas point of sale, and various Argos catalogue sections and pages.¶

Working closely with the Art Director, creating artwork and typesetting adverts for national press, mailers, brochures, CD covers, stationery, taxi sides, and 6/48 sheet posters. Clients included Malaysia Airlines, Emirates Airlines, the eXchange, QXL, Teletext, PRS, Choice Hotels, Freeview.¶
